Description:
This class is for
the young singer who wants to learn the basics of singing, a little
history about music, and how to read notes on the music staff. The
class will be taught by Anna Reniers. Mrs. Reniers has a masters
degree in voice and has taught in the USA and abroad.

Music Camp
Music Camp:
Exploring the past, present and future of Hip-Hop
culture
August 3 - 7, 2009
To be held at the Kirby Theater
High School students:
10 AM-12 PM or 1-3 PM
This camp
investigates the roots of the 4 elements of Hip-Hop culture,
including the DJ, emcee, boy/girl, and graffiti art. Hip-Hop
Campers will look into Hip-Hop history and debate the ethics and
direction of the international multi-billion dollar Hip-Hop
industry. Students will also engage in creative writing, lyrics
analysis and live performances.
